If you do end up getting a tutor, do the following:
1) Don't prepay anything until you are sure they are worth the money. This is especially true with "tutoring service".
2) Always email your questions to them in advance, so that way they can think about the questions beforehand and use your time together more efficiently.
3) Go for group tutoring with two or three people, as other people's questions and perspectives can be helpful, not to mention it's cheaper. More than three of you getting tutored loses its utility.
4) Only get help on questions that you have worked through at least twice. Do not pay for someone to give you a lesson or review session, as there are literally hundreds of videos floating around that can do that.
