How do we know which school is research-based which one is not. I am in the process of filling out my application and hopefully selecting the right schools.

I'd appreciate your help.

Are you really that picky about your future dental school? All US and Canadian schools will prepare you for a future career in dentistry, regardless of whether they're clinical-based or research-based. I personally think your primary concern should be getting in.
