Help! I need a list of top Radiology Residencies in California for a report that I am doing. Any help? Or anyone who can at least let me know where to look? Searching the web has not gotten me very far... I am probably looking in the wrong locations.. HELP PLEASE! Thank you!
 
Who would have thought... Less than 10 minutes after posting this I found a list of Residencies in California for Radiology. I still need help.. Can someone name a few of the top programs from the list below? Thank you

Top is subjective. You will never find a formal list ranking the programs.

UCSF, Stanford, UCLA, UC San Diego would be the four that stand out among the group though. You will find very little disagreement with that.
 
UCSF >>>>>> Stanford = UCLA >>>>>>>>>>>> UCSD.

If UCSD were located in a less desirable location, it would really be a 3rd-tear program (excluding the MSK fellowship). Location has a dramatic impact on how competitive programs are, even within California.
 
ALL are very competitive. The word I heard from friends was that for California rads, it was 250 on Step1 or bust.

Number is probably a little more flexible than that if you have legitimate ties to the area, especially for the smaller programs. The biggies have averages near or above 250 for sure.
