Does a negative object distance (e.g. in a two lens system, like say a microscope) change the type of image that is formed by the concave lens at the end? Like if the object distance wasn't negative, we'd end up with a negative, virtual upright image. When the object is negative, do we end up with a positive, virtual upright image or what?

Thank you.
