Hi...I am having a hard time studying for anatomy.

Just wondering from the people who have already take the part I boards - for knowing nerves - is it necessary to know each and every single branch of the cranial nerves or is a broad spectrum of knowledge required in this subject.

I'm actually going crazy trying to memorize all the various branches of the each nerve...

Any help is appreciated!

thanks!

You need to know head & neck anatomy--osteology, muscles, vessels, nerves, lymphatics--down cold. You can get away with a broader, shallower pool of knowledge for the rest of the body, but the head & neck is where we're supposed to be experts, and the boards will test you accordingly.
