Hey guys,
Several schools ask about hardships/obstacles in their secondary applications. I was thinking about writing about the nervous tics I've had since I was a child (brought on by physical and mental stress), and about how the condition has taught me to handle stressful situations, etc.
Would the admissions committees look at this negatively, thinking I won't be able to handle med school? If so, would it affect my chances of being accepted?

Thank you!

I also suffer from ticks from due to anxiety issues.
And I would never discuss this issue unless, you are getting accommodations for the MCAT.

Alright... but I really have no other hardships I could talk about. When I went to my pre-med advisor, someone said to talk about how difficult science courses were for me. That was never the case, and I would prefer not to lie on my applications.

Talk about the physical and mental stress that brought on the tics.

Write about how you had to ride 2.5 hours, one way, just to get to school.
