I need a new computer and i am getting a deal on netbook (w/out a CD rom). Does the DAT prep materials such as CTD, Destroyer, top score etc come on CD or i can download them to my computer?

You can download them all, nothing really comes on CD anymore. But the tiny netbook screen is going to get super annoying after taking practice tests on it. I would either A. hook it up to a bigger monitor or B. use a bigger laptop.

just add a couple hundred and get a laptop. its worth it.

$400 you can get a nice laptop. Dont go with netbook they suck

Buy the cheapest used laptop on Craigslist, reformat it and install crack DAT, topscore, etc...

...and then sell the laptop on SDN when you are done. This is the only way to get some of your investment back. Then use the money to buy a solid high performance laptop for dental school.

I used a NetBook to study for the DAT.

The screen size definitely is something that get's annoying when you're taking practice tests. I tend to agree with those that posted before me, for a little extra money get a regular laptop with a larger screen. Not only will it make studying easier, it will also simulate the test better.

Get a Mactop Pro and your good to go 😀

i would recommend a mouse as well. Your hand will get tired. I would just buy a 15 inch monitor off craigslist to use as well. You do not want to strain your eyes.
