Hey guys, so there is this symposium on maxillofacial surgery I am going to attend in the near future. The invitation said there will be time to approach the speakers and dental students at the university with questions and what not. Being as i am extremely shy, i was wondering if anyone had any tips on what exactly to do in a situation like this. A friend of mine who has attended the SNMA conference last year told me this would be a perfect chance for me to network, but what does that mean exactly.

Get close to them during break or refreshment. Ask for name cards, exchange emails. Have a pen and paper ready to jot down their names and other important info just in case you're going to be absent minded on that day ...🙂
