Does anyone know what percent of the Neuro boards is Psychiatry? I know they say ours is about 20% neuro. It just seems like my Neuro residents blow off their psych rotations.

Does anyone know what percent of the Neuro boards is Psychiatry? I know they say ours is about 20% neuro. It just seems like my Neuro residents blow off their psych rotations.

The unfortunate thing is, for the most part neither the neuro nor psych portion of the boards really test clinical practice - as long as the study before the test, your neuro residents will do fine. Psychiatry rotations need to offer neuro residents something other than the threat of boards to have them interested and actively participating.
