So I hear IM interviews have a tendency to ask pimp questions, does neuro pimp people during interviews too? I know ethics sometimes comes up in neuro interviews q's for example.

idk.. the university of chicago pimped all their applicants about 6 years ago (happened in 2004).. it pissed us all off.. and they only matched like 2 of their 5 spots that year.. i ranked them dead last and considered not even ranking them

if a program intends to TRAIN people as its function, obviously that nullifies the need to pimp them. anyway, yea i had heard about the pimping thing from IMGs that applied for IM, so was wondering if it could happen to US applicants for neuro. I bet it happens at some programs.
beats me... i remember getting a letter/survey from them after the match asking what went wrong with their interview process and how they could improve.. i tossed it in the trash..
I interviewed with them ~2006 (I think) even after hearing about the pimping issue. I wanted to find out for myself & because I like the City. I didn't get pimped. I actually liked the program too.
