That's such a small niche within neurology that there might not be any neuroophthalmology-trained members posting here.
AFAIK pay is similar to other outpatient neurology specialties, with the caveat that it tends to be very academic (which pays less). If you go through neurology to neuro-ophtho you don't get surgical training which is what would inflate the ophtho-trained subspecialist's salaries.
