hi..i m an international medical graduate..just gave step1...
i wantd to ask about neuro and cardio speciality?
neuro fascinates..bt have heard about low income and doctors getting frustrated as patient dont get treated often..
cardio..money is more here..
i just wana know pros and cons of both branches?
how post fellowship life is?
is it hectic in both?
which fellowship is there after neuro?do they earn similar to wat cardio does?

Sigh.

Cardiologists, on average, earn more in the USA than neurologists. Both are busy. Every specialty has "pros and cons", the vast majority of which are universal, and therefore insipid. At any rate, these pro/con issues tend to fade to the background if you choose a specialty that you actually enjoy.

thanks for reply..thats true...but i wana knw about post residency life....means how many hours of duty?do one get time to spend for family?please do explain it sir...
