"If enough residency positions are granted, one should remember that neurology residents with an interest in neuroradiology can become CAQ eligible by enrolling in a program of 2 years of neurology followed by 2 years of general radiology, and finishing with a 2-year neuroradiology fellowship."
So this essentially implies 7 total years of training, without becoming board certified in neurology, but certified in neuroradiology?
Another thread also said that SOME neuroradiology fellowships will accept neurologists into their programs, but this usually will make that individual only suitable for a academic position and of no use to a general radiology pp.
