Hello All,
I was wondering how many people (that you may know) that work as Neuropsychologists in a setting like a cancer center or a hospital-based placement that works with a lot of patients that have cancer. I have an interest in social, cognitive, and other "outcomes" related to patients that have cancer (CNS based or metastasized). I ask this because I have heard of some placements like this (like MD Anderson), but wanted to know if anyone has those similar interests.
Also, I'm looking to do more research in this area (neuropsych/oncology) and wondered how important is doing research specifically in this area is important to get a placement like at an internship/post-doc or even academic type job? Any advice or help would be gladly accepted!🙂
