Hello All,

I've recently joined a lab that involves neuropsychological testing of children (between 13-18) with autism.

I am just wondering if such testing (and associated analyses) will give me an idea of whether or not I will like clinical neuropsychology. Any thoughts?

Yes, although keep in mind that administration and scoring of tests is just one part of neuropsych. The real deal (which one learns in grad school) involves understanding what your measuring (and why) and what it all means in terms on neuroanatomiy, diagnosis, and treatment planning. But suffice to say that if you end up loathing administering tests and conducting evals, npsych will probably not gonna be a good fit.
