How competitive is Neurosurgery residency compared to the other medical specialties like psychiatry or general surgery?

It is substantially more competitive with a higher proportion of AOA, higher average publications, and a average step 1 score at least one standard deviation above those specialties. That being said, the top programs in each of those fields probably have a fairly similar array of stats. Also, moving to hSDN
