Neurosurgery in California

Isn’t the weather great in Cali? Anyway, I was wondering how good some of the programs in California are. My impression is that Stanford and UCSD are the best, then comes UCLA and maybe USC. This is just from looking at their webpages (may not be a very good indicator of the actual program itself). Do rankings and such reflect something else? Thanks in advance.

you forgot ucsf and some would rank that above both stanford and ucsd. and yes, the weather is great...that's about the only thing that is.
