Never thought something like this could complicate a practice

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You actually watch this garbage?

The defendant could easily win an appeal here. If Judy said that the Plaintiff couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt and originally ruled in the defendant's favor, there's no way that she can change her mind 10 sec later (which is after the case ruling) because the defendant happens to have another pending lawsuit. Judy is a joke.

I was thinking to myself the same thing lol. She can legally do that? Case was closed...I think that dentist was lucky to avoid and even bigger train wreck.

can't believe i just watched that. at the end, "I didn't speak to her, she's just a receptionist, she doesn't have dental experience" ! crazy people

lol yea. I watched it only because I wanted to see how shocking this case would end, but I wasn't shocked. If the defendant went up to the judge and slapped her or some kind of brawl happened at the court, I probably WOULD be shocked and laughed to death.

No disrespect to women (I love them), but sometimes they have to calm down and stop taking everything so seriously.

I'm glad I watched it till the end. There are some crazy nasty people out there. Better think twice before hiring someone at your clinic. What a crazy world we live in.

I hope you guys realize that Judge Judy and other court shows in the same manner is not actually a court of law right?

Its produced and televised like a court proceeding but it is not. It is binding arbitration. The parties themselves submit and agree to an appearance. Whatever the "judge" decides is final assuming its legally allowed under arbitration rules.

The people get paid to show up and the show is the one the pays the award not the people who are shown.

the judges though are for the most part former judges or possess some law degree.

anyhow Judge Wapner from the original People's Court owns all these wannabes.

After watching this, I decided to click on a few of the shorter clips for some more entertainment and found this interesting one:
