Hi all,

I am starting a weekly blog covering topics on the USMLE step 1. I am a third year Md/Phd student, and scored a 264 on the exam. Hopefully this blog will help folks gain insight into some of the tougher topics on the exam. I am a firm believer in understanding over memorization, and I try to emphasize that on the blog. This week's topic is on assessment of volume status and why sodium concentration is related to ICF volume. Feedback is much appreciated.
