New CA-1s, how is it going so far?

As the title says....
We started in July, initially had time to read, etc. But now, I am so tired when I come home, I have a hard time reading and retaining much. Weekends are devoted mostly to studying. One month in, still trying to figure the best study plan, note taking etc. Any advice?

I'm in the same position. Even weekends are being limited now by call. It's difficult to study during the week because I'm still taking in so much during the day it's mentally taxing. Hopefully it'll get easier after things start becoming more routine.

Feel you guys. I try to get in an hour if I can. I am very tired when I come home from work too. Haven't really found my groove with how to approach studying when I have time. Reading as much M&M and baby Miller when I have spare time. Trying to absorb and understand as much as possible in the OR. Asking as much questions as I have time for. Good luck to everyone.
