Can someone confirm if i'm correct. I think that coming sept. the question bank on the DAT will change, since june test takers had many questions that poped up on Aug. tests.
So why do they make you wait the whole three months to rewrite?

I'm not too sure if the test changes in September...I think they pretty much just have a large test bank of questions that they select from for each test.

Each prometric testing center changes their test weekly, thats what they told me. So all the testing centers can all have different tests each week or similar. You'll never know until you write it.

so from what i understand you have a chance of getting some of the same questions the second time around? interesting.

The way I look at it is that there are only so many questions you can ask for each section. They may be worded differently, but they basically contain the same general concepts. (If every question was different they would eventually have to start asking some pretty obscure test questions.)

I also think that a test bank of questions is probably the most economical choice. It would start to get pretty expensive if they had to come up with new questions for each test. 🙂
