Is there any rule as to how long a drug has to be around before it's fair game for the STEP 1? Like should we expect to see drugs that were FDA approved in mid-2000s or do they only test on stuff that's been around for decades? I'm mostly concerned with antineoplastics. Our professors are making us learn quite a few new ones like votrient, fafinitor, torisel, sutent, nexavar that aren't in First Aid and have fairly recent FDA approval (2005-2009ish.) Should I just delete them from memory after our class exam?

Honestly (these guys do a good job at this), get the newest First Aid. If it isn't in there, don't learn it. I mean learn it, but not for Step.
