Hey everybody,
I've been reading through here for a couple of months as I was preparing for my DAT and first wanted to say thanks for all the in info I've found that has been helpful. Now being new I'm, of course, going to post up my GPA and DAT scores and ask the consistent question of: Could I get in? Also, I have a couple of questions. I'm probably going to submit this week.
GPA: 3.21 (by my calcs. and going up after summer semester ends)
Unsure of Science GPA but it should be a bit higher than general.
Q. Does the ADEA app. service generally yield a lower GPA with their calculations than what a "classic" calculation would be. ie: replacing retakes instead of using both. and How much difference.
PAT: 24

RC: 30
BIO: 19
GEN: 24
OCHEM: 19
TS: 20
AA:22
Also, I have done genetics research the last two summers and have about 70hrs of shadowing. (Along with some other less impressive extras) I'm from South Dakota so I don't have a state school. Top choices to apply to are UNL, Minn., UPenn, and BU
Sorry for the long message and any feedback or suggestions on where to apply would be nice.
Thanks
