I got an email stating that the new interface starts in the second week of August, but people who have taken the test already have stated that the new interface is up. So for those who have taken the test already, can you shed some light? Also, what does the new interface consist of?

I am debating whether to do the 150Q set NMBE gave us.

Thanks

This is from the nbme website:

"The migration is expected to begin at a small number of test centers on August 14, and will then be phased in at remaining test centers throughout the remainder of August and into September. If you plan to take the Step 2 CK examination in mid-August 2008 or later, you should familiarize yourself with both the current test delivery software and the new version."

I took the test on Thursday and it was the "old" interface. It did have some questions where there was a single answer list for 2 question stems, but you could go back and change the first one if you wanted (sort of like the last few q's on a shelf exam). It was the same interface as the 150 free q's.
