New MCAT

Whats considered a 30/45 on the new MCAT thats out of 60?

If my math is still as good as it was a few years ago A 45 would be considered a 60 (since they're both perfect scores) and a 30 would be a 40.

If you scope around the forums, you might find a chart that will calculate all the scores.

OH NO, another MCAT 2015 post in hSDN.

I was just joking 😉

There used to be a MCAT 2015 Sticky thread in Pre-Allo but idk what happen to it!

I didn't read that specific link above but the pre reqs are

Gen Bio
Gen Chem
OChem
Gen Physics
Biochem
Calc I or Stats
English
Psychology
Sociology

Well are those set in stone by AAMC?

pretty sure those are basically them. I believe the required are one year bio, chem, orgo, english, and physics, along with math (but a lot require/like to see calc 1, maybe even 2 and stats). I think after 2015 though biochem becomes requires, psych and sociology are recommended because they're on the MCAT. Or at least that's what I THINK
