  1. Pre-Health (Field Undecided)
Hello all,

New board member here. Vital stats: 33 years old, married man, just starting out undergrad work (St. John's College in Santa Fe, NM). My life til now has been spent in a variety of pursuits, including military service, musical pursuits, finance and sales work, etc. I am not technically in a pre-med program, (my actual major has been described as philosophy with minor in history of math and science) although I intend on taking all the right pre-reqs. I am also not quite convinced that I want to enter the field of medicine. I am interested in lots of different things: Theology, language, neurology, economics, psychiatry, etc.

I am several years away from the grad school process, but until then I will hang out here, partly to learn more about the medical school world, and therefore to discover if it is, in fact, for me.

Cheers,
Sean

Hi.
Good to know the wind didn't blow you away yesterday. Best of luck in your pursuit of medicine (and life). You've certainly got an interesting - and I hope fulfilling - history. You sound just like Santa Fe: a little all over the place. (Sorry, I live in Albuquerque. Making fun of Santa Fe is sport down here, you know that, please don't take it personally. I mean no disrespect to you.)
If you've got questions just ask, someone will answer them.
My question for you: red or green? For everyone who doesn't understand, I don't care. You all are dead to me (figuratively speaking).
Bye.

I bet I make fun of Santa Fe more than you, so no offense taken. I get a kick out of it. Typically I go for green. I will likely be spending some time in Albuquerque this summer.

Welcome to SDN. 🙂
