Could anyone describe the anesthesia environment in Northern New Mexico, Santa Fe or Albuquerque? CRNA driven, MD only, Academic practice etc

It's not bad. There are crna's in for the most part but Santa Fe may not be using them. One of my partners left Santa Fe to join us. Mostly for location but now states that the practice here is much stronger. I don't really know what that means but I don't think it was all that bad there. THe pay is not great, however but not bad either.

Maybe Fasto will respond. He knows a bit about NM.

AA's at the university medical center. 🙂

Yes, there was only one when I was there. His name was Stan. He is the person that taught me how to do an axillary block. I know they have been very supportive of the AA's at UNM.
