New OD schools in VA and Mass, anyone applying?

Whats going on? Didn't they just open two last year? And they are opening two more this year in Virginia and Mass? Anyone think this is a good idea?

There are already multiple threads about this.

Schools don't have websites yet, they haven't even started building probably. VA one opens in 2013 I believe.

I think the VA one is way in the mountains.. pretty sure they will have a small class.. and don't really understand why they need TWO OD schools in MA. I know NECO is pissed.

Yep, we are. MA is not very large, and the school is opening up in Worcester(sp?), which is just several miles outside of Boston. It's not even like the school is opening somewhere far away so as to buffer the amount of graduates churning out each year. 🙁

I'm not sure what got the school to consider opening it, but it is known to be very aggressive in getting candidates for their other programs as well.
