So I am re-applying to dental school and wondering... do i need a new personal statement? I absolutely love my first one and i feel like it is almost perfect, but then again do i need to add anyting to it as far as my experiences this past year? what can I add to make it better without taking away from it and making it too long and boring?

If I were you (and that's really all I have to go by...I'm not an expert here), I would revise my personal statement to mention perhaps why this year of "reflection" has made me an even stronger applicant than the previous cycle. Has it given me an opportunity to be exposed even more to the dental profession? Has it impacted my dental philosophy? Just being rejected, alone, I would think is an experience that would have made me do a little soul-searching...

well apparently the schools didnt like it so much...!!!

Really now, change it up. If you have not done anything to improve your application this cycle then why do you think the schools will bother going through your apps now?
