I've been am Pharmacy Technician for six months now at Walgreens, I just had my review done and according to my manager my speed and task learning is inadequate. I have trouble trying to do the order ( warehouse, inner stores, and cardinal) and I'm hoping I can get some advice on how to improve my performance and insight on what technicians need to know how to do, other than just filling and selling prescriptions. Any help is welcomed!

I handle some of the ordering in the pharmacy I work at. even though i'm a pharmacist and that's supposed to be a technicians job. all you really have to do is compare distributors and get the cheapest choice you can find. make sure the prescriptions the pharmacist is preparing and selling are not underpaid. this applies to prescription drugs. a good 80% of the time, OTC's will be underpaid so you really can't do much about it. just find the cheapest alternative you can find
as for speed, it pretty much just comes with experience.
