I graduated undergrad in 2004 with 3.3 GPA in history. I took chem, calc, and bio last year at a local SUNY, and had a 3.6 overall. I will take organic and physics this fall, maybe in the Columbia post-bacc. Is it possible to apply for fall 2006 if I take the DAT's sometime in the beginning of next year; or, will I have to wait another year? Also, does dental college legacy carry any weight, or is that purely an undergrad thing? Thanks for the replies.

You should be taking the DAT this summer. The sooner the better. If you wait until next year you will have to apply for 2007.

For some schools legacies do help.

But don't I need organic and physics to take the DAT? Thanks again.
