Perhaps you should start a real anything. yet you lack the effort to do anything other than discourage people from a career that you could not achieve. what does your future hold socal. i am actually curious. it is not optometry and that ok, you view it as a bad proffesion, and thats ok. what are you going to do though?

@troll: oversupply isn't a problem specific to any field. In Toronto where all the waterloo grads aggregate there must be oversupply, but depending on your choices, as a leased OD to private optical shops you can pull 150K+ not to mention vacation and benefits.
@OP nice post, I find that a lot of schools should take the effort to better inform students alike.

socal I bet you got too many rejection letters even though you spent so much money on the OAT and application fees that you had a psychic breakdown and now instead of concentrating on re-applying next year, you just get your anger out on the internet.
