Hi,

I am interested in the PsyD degree but there are a lot less of these programs than PhD programs. Does anyone know of any schools that are in the process of developing a PsyD program?

This page lists all the APA accredited PsyD programs. There are 61. Isn't that enough?

 And here I had been holding back my response.

For most people, there seem to be an overabundance of PsyD programs, so I'm not sure what (or why?) you're really looking for even more of them. They would likely receive the same complaints as the majority of the existing ones do (search previous threads if you don't understand this comment). Furthermore, even if there are/were new & upcoming PsyD programs being developed, they likely would not do you (or anyone else) a bit of good since it takes time for ANY program (whether it be PsyD or PhD) to receive accreditation from the APA.

Cheers~

Hmmm, apparently OP seems to think there's a dearth of programs in multiple areas [link].

Seriously though, there are quite a few PsyD programs. Admittedly not as many as PhDs, but its also a much younger degree. Many states have several programs. How many did you really expect there to be?
