So, now that there is a residency interview feedback database should we just use that or continue to post reviews here? I think the reviews we do here have a nicer format and more information. Maybe we should just post the review in both places.

The new database is supposed to be filled by resident opinions, not students - residents are the best informed about their program.

But the EM reviews have a lot fo good info.

I'll talk to the bigwigs and get back to you all.

Hmm, that's odd, because it says it's an INTERVIEW feedback page. It's not like residents interview more times at their own program. Maybe we are talking about different things. I am talking about this: http://share.studentdoctor.net/residency/

🙄 Eh, I just remember that when it was first being discussed, the idea was that residents would enter information about their program. From the link, that looks to have changed. I very well could have deleted the relevant memories in the process of studying for Hematology. In any case, I asked for clarification re: your question.

That would be a good idea though - about having residents post about their own program as well. You could have 3 different databases that link off of one page - one for interviews, one for visiting rotators, and one for current residents. But that would probably be too much work. I also think the format could use a little bit template. Just my thoughts.

There will be two databases - one by the interviewees, one by residents. The new one is for interveiwees and EM users are encouraged to enter their thoughts/experiences there.

We're also looking to put the old EM reviews from the sticky into the new database as well. If someone is interested in helping with that, PM Lee.
