Hello everyone...
I got matched To my favorite speciality and really excited to start my journey..
I was asked to get ACLS,PALS and child abuse certification before July 1
How do I prepare for these courses? My program does provide the courses , but am worried as I never took these certification courses ...

They are all actually relatively easy and fun to do. Just google them for details.

Most of the certifications will give you a study book, but don't sweat it. The courses are very good at teaching you what you need to know. Also, I've not heard of a child abuse certification or course excepting the boarded subspecialty.

Thanks ...I was worried on seeing the study materials as now not in a mind set to study!!
It's child abuse - identification and reporting .. Online course

ACLS? That's interesting that you'd have to take that unless you're doing a rotating internship or are med-peds. What about NRP?
Yah....NRP also is there.....

I don't have the study materials yet... Does these courses require pre course preparation... Worried becouse am away from my clinicals for 3 yrs. 🙁

Look up ACLS on the internet. The exact algorithms you have to know + a few (not many at all) rhythms you need to be able to recognize. I am not a resident but I am ACLS certified.
