Hello everyone,

I am new to SDN. I am not sure how much I trust the Internets, but thought I would try joining here to see if it assists or hinders my thought processes.

I will soon be 28 and will finish a Masters degree here in Europe next year. I graduated from six years of undergraduate study with a science degree, where all medical school prerequisites were taken, with an abysmal 2.56. I am interested in several MSTP programs back home.

So, there is the conundrum, question, or predicament if you will. What options do I have to counteract the GPA and present myself as competitive for one of these positions?

Thanks for any help.

First off, do as well as you can in your Master's and take the MCAT. If that doesn't work maybe try taking classes at your local university for more of a positive GPA record. Can you make your master's help you in the biomedical field?
