Got any?

I think most people have, or at least had a few "Come January I'm going to change my ways!" moments during the last semester.

What would be your top 5 study-resolutions for a great year's work?

[Avoid study groups, don't go to every lecture, study away from friends, etc.?]

My school related new years resolution is to not go to a single lecture. I have already missed 6 today 😉

I'm already violating my New Year's Resolution not to surf the internet in lecture... whoops....

Here are my resolutions--some school related, some not
To be calm before every exam
Try to enjoy learning rather than worry about what other people are doing.
Don't let anyone, esp classmates get on my nerves.
To exercise everyday for at least 15 minutes
To eat healthy--(I think I was pretty good last year)
To spend less money on **** I don't really need
To get over my ex-BF as best as I can
To find an attractive non-med student guy.

I started neuroscience today. I think I just had a "study harder" resolution hoisted upon me.

I personally hate "new year's resolutions." I guess I never caught on to the appeal of the whole thing. With this is mind, I hope that my study habits become much more structuralized and consistent (i.e. no more taking 3 hr breaks after lecture and no more "I'll just study a couple more hours tomorrow BS") and that they last AT LEAST until I take Step 1. Yes, I know that this is a bit wishfull thinking, but hell, I am on vacation and will start school next week and I allow a bit of latitude with what is realistic and what is not. Seriously, I am really going to try to get my study habits in order because the "catch up" method that got me through college and that I had to deal with during this first term of med school, is definitely NOT the way to succeed. Good luck to all of you guys who like "new year's resolutions" and maybe the optimist in you will make some of them come true this year.
