Hi everybody,
I am an MS3 soon to be MS4 who is currently in the process of applying for Ob/Gyn residency. I would like to stay in New York.
I don't have an institution in mind where I would kill to match into. However, I have heard that getting a letter from an institution other than your home institution would be advantage.
I have been having bad luck trying to scramble for an away program. There is a small chance that I may be able to get an elective at Albert Einstein-Yeshiva in November.
I was wondering if not doing any away electives would put me at a disadvantage or not.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
