New York Programs

The state seems to have A LOT of programs. Wondering if anyone here is from the Brooklyn, NYC area. Are you enjoying the residency programs? Pretty busy I'm sure. Are the programs very competitive?

they are all competitive. anesthesiology, as a specialty, is super competitive right now.

I'd say its more difficult to get a spot now then it was a few years ago but it is by no means super comeptitive (see derm, urology, ent). Its on par with ER. Good news is that there is a ton of programs out there so spots arent so scarce.
