what are people's opinions about new york medical college master's program?
columbia's seems to be more for those who have not taken many science courses.
Stony brook is not an "enrichment" type program which is what I need
Hunter may be another option but are there any other programs i'm missing?

First of all New York Medical College is located in suburbian Westchester county. By reputation I understand that the core courses are often offered in the evening. Most full timers do the program in two years. Reading the focus on website the school seems to focus mostly on producing phd. researchers. And therefore, it may be in some ways less efficient than special masters pretty much designed to get people into MED School. But hell if one gets an MS in say physio from a med school based program, and excells; I assume it would be a huge plus

Hunter college offers graduate courses in Biology & Biochemistry; many in the evening. If you have BA, have taken the GREs, and have a somewhat reasonable science background, you can pretty much walk in as a non-Matric. Since the courses are lecture bases they do not close out. There are also research opportunities.
They have a one year masters with either a thesis or exam based option. I still think that if your goal is to get into Med school the best idea to find a program designed to get you into Med school. But Hunter offers good, affordable science education in the heart of Manhattan and you'll have opportunities to enhance your credentials. Maybe worth checking out is Hunter's MS in Bio with a pharm research focus. Its offered uptown at Mt. Siani. The pre-reqs are substantial but at least the program director, Dr Chappel, is a good guy.
Also worth looking into is UMDNJ in nearby Newark, It has a med school prep directed MS physio program.
