Congrats to all students now recieving acceptance's I'm new to this site and love what I've read so far. I have a newbie question. I'm still about a year and a half away from sending in my application but am I right in my understanding that aacom does not consider dropped classes {w's} on a transcript? And that the latest score in a retaken class is the only score considered?

They will see all retake scores and W's.

However, only the latest of a retake is counted in your gpa.

So as I calculate my own gpa I can ignore the {w's} that are killing it now?

Allopathic schools don't include W's either but they do include every class you recieved a letter grade in A,B,C,D,F. Regardless of whether you have taken a class over or not.
