I really had no clue it took so long for AADSAS to get things ready on thier end. I submitted back in 6/4 and completed my files with transcripts and letters on 6/28. So it has almost taken 2 months!! WOW!! I am just glad I am getting my application out now. If any body else is still completing your file YOU SHOULD GET IT DONE QUICK!!! Oh, BTW I think this is the 3rd mailing so it's still early in the game. Good luck!

I'm with you in this next cycle. I thought submitting mid-June was considered early, but I had no idea it would take this long, although they did say 4-8 weeks... I guess I didn't think it would take much longer after being verified.

it is still early. No worries. You have to think of everyone submitting in July and August...even September. THey won't really be "done or sent out" until September, october and november!!!

Does the "mailing date 7/24/09" refer to the date the application is electronically send or when the hard copy is mailed? If it means the hard copy then I would assume that the application was electronically sent today.

E-submit 6/2 and I JUST got on the mailing list for the 24th of July. I won't relax until it is updated to sent lol

I am usure how the electronic and hard cory versions work out. Does anybody have any insight on this? I am pretty sure tat schools need the hard copy to start reviewing..right? Or can they use the electronic copy?

My electronic copy was sent out 6/29 and my paper copy on 7/2, but my first email came from Buffalo on 7/3 notifying my application had been received. So they may start sending out notifications, but they won't start actually reviewing your application until your paper copy is in.

I submitted my application 07/15. It got verified the next day and it says my application will be mailed with the next batch on 07/24. I must be lucky.

Probably because your transcripts didn't get there until 6/28! I sent mine way in advance, it takes them a few days to verify everything and then they send the apps.

That's what I did. Send the fees to all the schools that say "Send AT THE SAME TIME you submit through AADSAS." It'll help speed up the process. Also, schools like money, so they'll like you more if they don't have to ask you for it. Maybe.
