Has anyone heard anything back from the National Health Service Corps Scholarship program? Or has anyone heard any statistics on this year's applicant number versus the number they plan to hand out? Any updates would be greatly appreciated!

You will not hear a thing unless you receive a scholarship, and you will not hear that until the very end of August at the very earliest. First by email, then by phone call. If you don't hear anything by mid-September, then you did not receive one.

But if anything, there will be fewer scholarships this year than years past as they have shifted more towards financing the loan repayment program.

I can't seem to find it. All I found was "NHSC Application Process" but no one there has mentioned hearing anything back this cycle. Could you please direct me over to that thread? Thanks in advance!

That is the one I am talking about. People are talking about hearing back at the end of that forum. There is also an osteopathic forum here http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=993812
