Helping break nicotines amazing grip upon the patient's mind is one of the greatest challenges a family physician may ever face. Weve put together some rather unique free quitting documents and invite you to give them a try. In that these are free documents our only requests are that there never be any direct charge to patients for receiving them and that basic copyrights remain in place.
The first is a 149 page PDF quitting book entitled Never Take Another Puff by Joel Spitzer of Chicago. Its a collection of over 90 short quit smoking articles on every topic imaginable.

We also have an 8 eight page quitting tips handout entitled Nicotine Dependency Recovery. It is available in PDF format (http://whyquit.com/tips.pdf), Word format (http://whyquit.com/tips.doc) and Word Perfect format (http://whyquit.com/tips.wpd)
Knowledge truly is power but only if put into the hands of those needing it.
