Check predents, practically everyone that was accepted Dec 1st have multiple schools listed. On top of that, some schools didn't fill all the seats they have. I'd guess that after everyone whittles down their acceptances, half of all the seats will be open. It might take two months though.

Second wave of acceptances yes; second wave of interviews is not going to be of significant magnitude. You can be that most schools have interviewed more than they are likely to need to fill up the class.
