I'm not trying to rehash the same old debate. However, I do want some insight into the NJMS-RWJMS debate. I'm wondering if the nature of the debate has changed given the merger with Rutgers. Not looking for a Newark vs New Brunswick debate. I know that NJMS has always been viewed as superior in terms of clinical experiences, while RWJMS has been viewed as superior in terms of research. Does this still hold true with the merger?

Not much has changed since the merger. Only the name of the institutions (UMDNJ to Rutgers/RBHS) and the names of titles & officers.

Besides that, the merger didn't significantly change the faculty, the hospitals/clinical exposure, experiences, etc.

Nothing's too different with the Rutgers merger for either NJMS or RWJMS on the student side of things.

In terms of comparing the two schools, I'd honestly say that they're both basically "the same car, but different colors"
