Hi all,

I interviewed at UMDNJ-NJMS in late February. I think it was the last week of interviews for them. Did anyone that interviewed around that time hear any news yet? I really liked that school!!!

hey prospectiveApp,
i also interview at the end of feb. i called and they said i should hear something within 4-6 weeks. i guess this is gonna be week 5? (i'm not sure, lost count while i've been losing my mind 🙄 ) i'm still waiting though, so i hope we find something out soon!!!!

i just called again and was told that my file was just reviewed by the committee recently and i'll hear something within the next 2 weeks

Eek. I interviewed at the beginning of February, and I still haven't heard anything. But I think it takes longer for us out-of-staters.
I'm hoping the delay is a good sign, since RWJ seemed to get back to me rather quickly- with a rejection 🙁

I did- got the call tonight.
I'M IN BABY!!!
And I'm not a NJ resident, so it feels REALLY good.
It was so weird though, because I just got back this morning from my Buffalo second look day. I love their program, and spent the weekend falling in love with the school.
But I like NJMS even better over all 😀
Anyone else?

congratulations HouseHead!!!! i really can't wait until i hear from them, i really, really, REALLY want some good news. they called you on a sunday night? may i ask what time? sometimes my brother is on the internet at night so i'll have to kick him off if i think they might call, lol!

I think it was like 9 or so. I was soooo surprised. I do remember that other folks have mentioned The Call, but I think it is usually on Saturdays. Don't sit around by the phone waiting though! That's just crazy-making.
My guess is that their turn-around is much quicker for in-staters. Are you in- or out-of-state?
I am so psyched about their student-run clinic. 😍 I just hope that the 9-5 schedule isn't as grueling as everyone says it is. Being the semi-gunner that I am (only in the good way though- no sabotaged lab experiments here! 😛), I'm sure any school would be grueling for me.
