This might be a dumb question, but are the shelf exams for rotations graded out of 110? Or is it graded out of 100 with "10 experimental" questions that can't count for or against you?

I've heard conflicting things and just wanted to clear it up. If anyone could provide a link that would be awesome as well!

It’s a scaled percent correct provided by NBME. Not sure if anyone actually knows officially what happens to the scores behind closed doors.

Recently, The NBME started releasing a more detailed score report, displaying questions out of 100 rather than 110. This certainly suggests that there are 10 questions considered as "experimental" or not counted towards the final score. i know this thread is old, but its still quite relevant for current students lol
