NMR in aldehyde

I was wondering if hydrogen b in this example would show up in the NMR as a quartet since it's experiencing a magnetic field from the spin of the aldehyde H and the neighboring c hydrogen

Yes, it would be a quartet. See the NMR spectrum for propionaldehyde. The coupling constant for B,C is larger than that of A,B (you don't need to know that).
