The IR are very easy to remember in comparison. It is so annoying to remember just arbitrary values. Do you need to remember the Chemical shifts in NMR? I mean, shielding and deshielding effects on 1H and 13C NMR to produce different chemical shifts seem to be a very valid question to be asked, but remembering all those shift values? It seem like a giant waste of time.

Examples such as Table 13.2 in the KBB.

Thanks ahead of time.

idk about C nmr. but i would definitely remember the major functional group shift values for H NMR, I mean might as well, they're not that difficult.
